Senior Database Support Specialist

PROJECT INFORMATION:

Industry: Banking

Location: Warsaw (hybrid model, 1 -2 x week in office)

Remuneration: 155 PLN/h + VAT

Type of assignment: B2B

The Senior Database Support Specialist will enhance database support, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient operations and incident management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive improvements in database support and optimize resources to reduce incidents.
• Improve database support and reduce major incidents.
• Optimize resources including personnel, servers, and licenses.
• Collaborate with database engineering for governance, security, and architecture.
• Work in a hybrid mode, with in-office presence twice a week.
• Deliver technical consultations to other units.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience managing hundreds of MS SQL databases and Azure Cosmos.
• Proficient in daily DBA management (diagnosing issues, responding to incidents).
• Skilled in planning and controlling IT operations (SOP compliance, patching, etc.).
• Proficiency in spoken and written English (B2 level).
• Experience in a financial institution.
