SAP FI/CO Consultant – Oil & Gas

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant with strong expertise in financial accounting and controlling processes, preferably within the Oil & Gas (Upstream) sector. The role focuses on delivering robust finance solutions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting seamless integration with SAP IS-Oil and JVA modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI/CO modules, including:

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Asset Accounting (AA)

  • Cost Controlling (CO)

• Manage financial close processes, including month-end and year-end closing activities

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS)

• Support financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit requirements

• Integrate FI/CO with SAP IS-Oil and Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) for upstream operations

• Design and optimize cost controlling structures, profitability analysis, and internal reporting

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align SAP finance solutions with operational needs

• Identify and resolve system issues and improve finance processes

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO configuration and support

• Deep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO)

• Experience in financial close, reconciliation, and reporting processes

• Exposure to Oil & Gas industry (preferred)

• Integration experience with IS-Oil and JVA modules

• Understanding of IFRS and financial compliance frameworks
