SAP Public Cloud FI/CO Consultant (m/f/n)

We are looking for experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance & Controlling Specialists to join an international team delivering support, enhancements, and small-scale projects within the SAP FI/CO landscape.

You will work closely with global IT teams and business stakeholders, providing 2nd and 3rd line support, analyzing complex issues, implementing configuration changes, and ensuring continuous improvement of financial processes in SAP Public Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve complex SAP S/4HANA issues in FI and CO modules, including customer-specific solutions.

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for SAP FICO tickets and incidents.

• Perform in-depth problem analysis to identify root causes and propose optimal solutions.

• Configure SAP system components such as GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.

• Collaborate with 1st-level support and cross-functional IT teams.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders.

• Monitor and report on ticket trends to identify recurring issues and improvement areas.

• Lead and execute minor enhancements and system changes.

• Create and maintain documentation related to tickets, changes, and process updates.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Business, or related fields.

• Strong expertise in SAP FI and SAP CO modules.

• Hands-on configuration experience in:

  • General Ledger

  • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable

  • Asset Accounting

  • Cost Center Accounting

• Experience with SAP AP F2R‑PS2F (Project Start to Finish) processes (budgeting, planning, project structures).

• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud functionalities.

• Knowledge of integrations between SAP FI and external systems.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL processes.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

• SAP certifications — an advantage.

• English B2/C1 required; German is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Financial Statements and Group Reporting.

• Experience in managed services environments.

• Consulting background.
