We are seeking a dedicated and business-oriented Purchaser with experience in work environment and healthcare procurement to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring a wide range of products and services, including consultants, services, IT, materials, and consumables, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. A key aspect of the role is understanding the juridical implications of procurement, particularly when handling deviations from our Terms and Conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation).
- Analyse supplier offers and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Lead supplier negotiations.
- Create contracts and purchase orders for signing.
- Manage deviations and changes from standard contract templates in collaboration with the legal department.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of contract templates together with legal
- Place orders and manage the procurement flow.
- Handle invoices and ensure accurate documentation.
- Document work progress, decisions, and deviations.
- Administer contracts, price lists, and relevant indices (e.g. currency).
- Monitor and manage procurement-related data and documentation.
- Proactively initiate and drive continuous improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility.
Experience & Skills:
- 5–10 years of relevant experience within a purchasing or procurement function.
- Strong understanding of contractual terms, legal implications, and risk management.
- Experience of handling contracts, including deviations from standard templates.
- Good knowledge of purchasing processes, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Experience working in a structured and compliance-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at different organisational levels.
