Manual QA Engineer

Summary:

The role of Manual QA Engineer is critical for ensuring the quality of mobile applications through thorough testing processes, enabling seamless releases across multiple platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements and maintain test cases/suites to enhance existing test plans.

• Execute functional and regression testing to validate workflows and business logic.

• Check visual consistency and usability through UI/UX testing.

• Conduct device testing on iOS, Android, and proprietary devices.

• Log and manage defects in Jira with detailed tracking and reporting.

• Perform smoke testing and provide support for daily and weekly releases.

• Contribute to automation efforts when necessary.

• Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies to identify quality risks early.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in manual QA for mobile applications (iOS & Android).

• Experience across multiple devices, OS versions, and form factors.

• Proficiency in Jira, GitLab, and CI/CD workflows.

• Willingness to use AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) for test creation, product understanding, and QA optimisation.

• Strong English communication skills (Arabic is a plus).

• Agile/Scrum methodology experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with enterprise or productivity applications.

• Familiarity with AI tools for manual testing tasks.

Other Details:

• Location: On-site in Abu Dhabi, 5 days a week.

• Contract Duration: 6 months extendable.
