Introduction & Summary:

The role focuses on the long-term stabilization, functional enhancement, and modernization of core insurance systems in the commercial insurance sector, with an emphasis on strong delivery ownership in a technical environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensuring code quality and supporting architectural decisions in collaboration with technical leads

• Coordination between onsite and nearshore teams, ensuring smooth delivery and communication

• Facilitating knowledge transfer among team members and securing continuity of critical knowledge

• Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams

• Supporting overall service delivery, reporting, and alignment with client expectations

Key Requirements:

• Experience in mainframe application development or working closely with mainframe-based systems

• Strong understanding of architectural design principles

• Proven ability in managing code quality and supporting delivery processes

• Experience in coordinating teams in distributed (onsite + nearshore) environments

• Fluent German (mandatory) and English (required)

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with insurance industry operations

• Experience working in a hybrid delivery model

• Knowledge of modern development practices
