Introduction & Summary
A highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Data technologies, specializing in Big Data environments. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data applications with a focus on quality, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in consulting or development, with a technical orientation towards effective data solutions.
Main Responsibilities
Core duties include the delivery of project-based service and maintenance for data products. Responsibilities encompass:
- Design and develop new applications while maintaining existing components.
- Implement technical solutions aligned with project timelines.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
- Contribute proactively to the performance of Big Data & BI platforms.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Develop data integration solutions using relevant ETL tools.
- Maintain and administer databases effectively.
- Deliver solutions that facilitate structured data access for analysis.
Key Requirements
- 3–5 years of proven consulting or development experience with Microsoft Data technologies.
- Confirmed expertise in Big Data environments, particularly with Databricks (Python and Spark).
- Strong orientation towards technical development.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Azure development components (DevOps tools, Data Lake Gen2, Data Factory v2).
- Experience using Azure Analysis Services – Tabular (DAX).
- Knowledge of SQL Server suite (on-premises), SSAS, and T-SQL.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Scala development.
- Expertise in optimizing data processing performance.
- Ability to function effectively in an English-speaking delivery environment.
