Data Engineer

For our client, a leading professional services organization specializing in audit, tax advisory, consulting, risk management, and financial & legal advisory, we are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a team delivering modern cloud and data engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Cloud & Data Engineering solutions

• Bring a Data Engineering perspective to development teams and support business objectives

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure and Terraform

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards

• Work in an Agile/SCRUM environment

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

• Manage, optimize, and support the Databricks platform

Ideal candidate profile

• Proven experience in Data Engineering and Databricks platform administration

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, Spark, and Python

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure

• Experience with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Security-oriented mindset

• Basic understanding of Data Mesh concepts

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment

Conditions

• Start: ASAP

• Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Germany)

• Contract: B2B

• Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience and expectations.
