Business Analyst for MS Migration (RPA bots)

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst for a fixed-term engagement to support the migration of a portfolio of UiPath RPA bots from Google Workspace to the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines proven Business Analyst experience with basic UiPath development skills. In this role, you will work closely with the development team and business stakeholders to perform requirements analysis, manage process documentation and change control, coordinate testing and UAT, support cutover planning and operational readiness, and drive post-migration hypercare.

Main Responsibilities

Your core duties will include:

• Gathering and analyzing functional requirements; defining acceptance criteria per bot/process.
• Documenting non-functional requirements (security, auditability, performance, resiliency, logging, retention).
• Performing As-Is vs To-Be gap analysis (file locations, permissions, formats, authentication).
• Supporting developers/architects with clarifications, options, and solution decisions (Microsoft equivalents).
• Maintaining process maps, business requirements, and bot-level specifications.
• Managing and communicating changes, priorities, dependencies, timelines, and risks.
• Defining testing strategy with QA/dev (scope, environments, test data).
• Producing and maintaining test documentation (test plan, test cases, defect log).
• Leading UAT with business users (planning, execution support, defect triage, retest, sign-off).
• Validating go-live readiness (access, configs, schedules, documentation, monitoring, support model).

Key Requirements

• Experience with RPA automation lifecycle.
• Knowledge of business process best practices (BBPs).
• Proficiency in AGILE methodologies.
• Strong skills in RPA tools (preferably UiPath).
• Demonstrated experience in Business Analysis.
• Familiarity with Scrum framework.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Nice to Have

• Experience with project management tools.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of cloud-based solutions.

Other Details

This position is offered as a contract with remote engagement opportunities. Duration may vary based on project milestones and requirements. Candidates are expected to have prior experience working in a collaborative team environment and a solid understanding of both business and technical aspects of RPA.
