emagine is looking for a Brand & Market Analyst to our gaming client.
Contract Length: 18 months
Start date: 1st June
Location: Stockholm hybrid (must be on-site 2-3 days per week)
Job Description: Overview
Join our client’s Brand & Marketing team to shape how we understand our brand, players, and the competitive gaming landscape. You will connect brand perception with market dynamics and competitor activity to inform strategy, tactics, and decision-making. Working closely with marketing, brand, and insights teams, you’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. Job Description: Responsibilities
Own brand health tracking and insights, including brand audits, quarterly updates, and perception analysis across key markets.
Lead competitor and market intelligence by analyzing game systems, live-ops, monetisation, and strategic moves across the industry.
Identify emerging trends, player shifts, and early signals to inform brand marketing activities.
Translate insights into clear recommendations and collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, research) to drive action.
Build and maintain scalable frameworks and tools for ongoing market and competitive monitoring.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field and 1–3 years of experience in brand strategy, market intelligence, consulting, or analytics OR equivalent experience.
Experience analyzing market trends, competitor landscapes, segments, and translating data into actionable insights.
Experience working with quantitative and qualitative data sources (e.g., surveys, dashboards, market tools).
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the gaming industry or strong understanding of game systems (core loops, monetisation, live-ops).
Familiarity with tools such as Sensor Tower, GameRefinery, YouGov BrandIndex, or similar platforms.
Experience building or contributing to structured competitive intelligence or brand tracking programs.
Ability to work with data tools such as SPSS, Excel, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
Strong curiosity about player behavior, game design, and market dynamics.
Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and drive projects forward in ambiguous environments.
