Job description

You will be a part of DevOps Organisation working on high availability systems and business critical infrastructure for highly visible customers from Fortune 500 companies.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Design of network architecture inside and between Datacenters
Documentation of network configuration, topologies, and guides
Network services management
Day to day maintenance of network and data center environments
Contact with vendors and global service providers
Work as a part of the Network Engineering team to design and architect future network topologies
Work in a geographically diverse network engineering team split between Poland and Mountain View, CA

Skills - experience and requirements:

Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS)
Knowledge of HA mechanisms and protocols (ether-channel, FHRP, VRRP, multipath, ECMP)
Experience with VPNs
Experience with L2/L3 networks
Understanding of Cisco and Arista CLI
Experience with firewalls (PAN, Fortigate)
Understanding of various Layer 1 technologies and media types (xWDM, passive/active systems, cabling)
Ability to solve complex problems with simple and elegant solutions
Willingness to learn and gain new technical skills
Open mind and can-do attitude
Communicative English skills

Bonus skills:

Experience with Linux
Experience with automation tools for network configuration (Ansible, Salt)
Experience with VxLAN & VxLAN eVPN’s
Familiarity with at least one of the scripting languages: Python/Perl/Ruby
Experience with using bug tracking/version control tools like Jira, Subversion and/or Git
Experience in using templates and patterns to build and design network and/or data centers
