Linux Administrator / Cloud Operations Engineer (Poznan)
Position Description:
We’re looking for a Linux Administrator with strong capacity planning skills to join our Cloud Operations team. You will own whole process from capacity planning in our data center and cloud platforms.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end hardware capacity planning
- Manage and track shipments of hardware and cloud provisioning
- Measure utilization of resources and provision new in case of need
- Design, gather data and implement capacity models to predict growth
- Automation of our inventory systems and auto discovery
- Add new resources to infrastructure (configure hardware, install OS and Google Cloud)
Requirements:
- Experience with Linux shell
- Experience with hardware ordering process
- Highly organized with strong project management skills
- Experience with IPMI systems (iDRAC, iLO, etc.)
- Virtualization experience (KVM , Hyper-V or ESXi)
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience with hardware monitoring solutions
- Communicative English skills
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with data center procedures
- Experience with GCP or Azure is a plus
- Basic programming/scripting
- Experience with creating Zero Touch Installation scripts for Linux
- Familiarity with Atlassian Jira & Confluence,Google Cloud Platform
