DEVOPS LEADER

1.     YOUR CHALLENGES

a.     We are expanding globally to serve the needs of our large international clients who are predominantly in insurance. To make this happen, we launched the process of implementation DevOps standards in Efinity. We are looking for ambitious and passionate person to support as in this process.

b.     Your key challenges

                                             i.     To secure automation of developers’ environment and to implement Kubernetes as the company standard

                                             ii.     To ensure maintenance and growth of existing cloud infrastructure

                                            iii.     To lead the team

                                            iv.     To find optimal technical solutions to meet company architecture directions and projects needs

                                            v.     To maintain optimal infrastructure processes

                                            vi.     To meet optimal level of the infrastructure cybersecurity

2.     OUR REQUIREMENTS

a.     5+ years maintaining modern, large-scale software systems

b.     3+ years designing and operating systems on cloud providers like AWS

c.     1+ years leading or managing Tech Ops teams

d.     Very good knowledge of Kubernetes

e.     Atlassian stack knowledge (Bitbucket/Bamboo/Jira/Confluence)

f.      Postgresql - Monitoring, administration and migration experience

g.     Maintaining and using monitoring and observability systems (Prometheus/Grafana)

h.     Configuring appropriate alerting rules to reliably detect production issues (Pingodm/NewRelic/Nagios)

i.      Deploying and maintaining Linux-based production environments (Centos/Ubuntu)

j.      Managing infrastructure as code, for example with Terraform

k.   Familiarity with programming languages and software development such as Java

l.     Very good knowledge and experience in

                                               i.     LAN/VAN/VPN/IPsec/Cisco/Fortigate

                                             ii.     backup systems

                                            iii.     Saltstack/Puppt/Ansible

                                            iv.     Bash (or Python)

                                              v.     Docker and Proxmox

o.     English level B2+

About 80 people are working with us. We work hybrid based on an agile structure.

After submitting your application, we will review it and then invite selected individuals for a short interview via video call.

If you pass it successfully, you will be invited to up to two more interviews.

Interviews:

usually last about an hour

all are 1:1 or 2:1 interviews

They will be conducted, among others, with the founder of the company, the person who is responsible for the operational continuity of the company and a member of the team (infrastructure and devops expert).

After the interviews, we will make an offer of cooperation to the selected person.

We will guarantee feedback to the remaining candidates.
