What you'll be responsible for:
- Managing all Linux-based laptops/workstations.
- Setting up, upgrading, administration, designing and troubleshooting computer systems and associated hardware and software.
- Integrating Linux systems into existing management structures (Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Intune, MAM, MDM, Puppet or Ansible and Microsoft 365) or alternatives to meet departmental functionality and security goals.
- Developing worldwide standards for end-user Linux builds and supported applications.
- Taking care of the architecture and rollouts of a set of capabilities that will allow IT Team to standardize and better manage various Linux distributions deployed around the world.
- Supporting the migration of on-premises systems to AWS.
- Acting as a SME of Linux across the whole company.
Qualifications:
- Passion for Linux-based solutions!
- Strong knowledge of managing Linux desktop environment.
- Proven track record of integrating Linux into a predominantly Microsoft environment.
- Broad knowledge of IT domains: Server, Datacenter, Telecom, Messaging, desktop architecture and build methodologies.
- Detailed knowledge of Linux Distributions (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu).
- Very good English skills.
