What you'll be responsible for: 
  • Managing all Linux-based laptops/workstations.  
  • Setting up, upgrading, administration, designing and troubleshooting computer systems and associated hardware and software.  
  • Integrating Linux systems into existing management structures (Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Intune, MAM, MDM, Puppet or Ansible and Microsoft 365) or alternatives to meet departmental functionality and security goals. 
  • Developing worldwide standards for end-user Linux builds and supported applications.  
  • Taking care of the architecture and rollouts of a set of capabilities that will allow IT Team to standardize and better manage various Linux distributions deployed around the world. 
  • Supporting the migration of on-premises systems to AWS. 
  • Acting as a SME of Linux across the whole company. 

Qualifications:
  • Passion for Linux-based solutions!
  • Strong knowledge of managing Linux desktop environment.
  • Proven track record of integrating Linux into a predominantly Microsoft environment. 
  • Broad knowledge of IT domains: Server, Datacenter, Telecom, Messaging, desktop architecture and build methodologies.  
  • Detailed knowledge of Linux Distributions (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu).  
  • Very good English skills.
