Who are we seeking?

We are growing our Development Team and we are seeking a Java passionate with excellent problem solving skills and experience in commercial software development projects.

As our team member you will:

build innovative digital solutions
develop web applications based on Apache Sling
implement technical requirements
write technical documentation
work with the distributed international project team

Stack:

Backend: Java (8), Sling
Code Repository: BitBucket
Development and knowledge base: IntelliJ, JIRA, Confluence

Profile:

People management 0% - 10%
Design: 5%
Development: 60% -70%
Tests: 20%
Support and maintenance/bug fixing: 5%

Qualifications:

Experience in Java development
Comfortable with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and DOM manipulation
Good knowledge of browser technologies
Client-side debugging and problem solving
Experience with integrating and consuming API services
Ability to implement business requirements with technical solutions - asking clarification questions, reviewing specifications, creating technical specifications (clear development-ready instructions) from business requirements and high-level functional specifications
Solid understanding of software development principles: iterative cycles, source control, unit testing and producing good quality clean code
Experience in international projects and working with remote teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written English skills
