Senior FullStack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer to join our agile product team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust enterprise applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular. Experience with Quarkus is a plus.

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop scalable and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
2. Build responsive, maintainable frontend components using Angular.
3. Work closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend developers in an agile environment.
4. Write unit and integration tests to ensure high software quality.
5. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and practices.
6. Ensure technical documentation is accurate and up to date.

Requirements

1. Minimu 5 years of experience in fullstack software development.
2. Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
3. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
4. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, etc.
5. Experience with SQL and relational databases.
6. Good understanding of testing practices.
7. Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Good communication skills in English (German is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with Quarkus or interest in learning it.
2. Experience with process engines (e.g. Camunda).
3. Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
4. Experience with performance tuning and security best practices.
5. Prior experience in financial services or regulated environments.
