CA API Gateway System Engineer
Job location: Warszawa or Łódź
Successful candidates will join a delivery organization providing Development Services for multiple IT systems and applications. Services will be delivered to major DXC clients representing various industries. The services scope of the team located in Poland will be applicationsoftware design, development and testing.
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of IT experience with at least basic knowledge of the technology stack listed below.
Job responsibilities of this role will include (all or subset of):
- design and develop CA API Gateway product (development, testing and implementation of bug fixes, minor enhancements and new functionalities)
- Developing and maintaining required operational documentation
- Collaborating with project teams on implementation of major changes, upgrades or new releases
- Gradually developing subject matter expertise for CA API Gateway and other integration / EMS products and becoming support team’s expert in that area
We require:
- University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.),
- Working experience in IT, preferably in technical support or development areas.
- Experience in any of below technologies or domains (in order of relevance):
- TIBCO BusinessWorks, preferably 6.x
- TIBCO Enterprise Message Service
- Any other integration / EMS solutions
- Java and other relevant technologies: XML, XPath, HTTP, JMS, SOAP, JDBC and Web Services
- Teamwork and ability to work under pressure
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Fast learning
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid communication skills
- Willingness to work on shifts
We appreciate:
- Understanding of RDBMS databases such as SQL Server or Oracle
- Knowledge of Linux operating system
- Experience with TIBCO Spotfire
- Familiarity with Integration, Testing, Deployment tools – Jenkins, GIT
- Familiarity with any other integration / EMS solutions
- Familiarity with ITIL process framework
