Job Description
Danfoss is looking for an analytics architect to drive forward our ambition of continuously improving the way we harvest the large amounts of data in our global CRM system (based on Salesforce.com).

As an analytics architect you will be working with Tableau CRM (previously known as Salesforce Einstein Analytics). The data to be analyzed is CRM data from our Salesforce CRM solution, but also sales relevant data from other data sources (e.g. pricing tools and SAP ERP). As an architect your role will be to ensure the consistency, quality, and ongoing development of our Tableau CRM platform. Looking into how Danfoss can leverage the AI engine in Tableau CRM will also be a focus area for you.

It is not mandatory that you have prior experience with Tableau CRM or Salesforce.com (but of course an advantage). Proven experience with other similar BI tools is a great advantage, but we might also consider hiring you if you have a strong background in mathematics and/or statistics. In all circumstances you need to love data and have a strong interest in how data can be used to gain insights. The job will require strong technical skills, including programming. Database understanding is also a very good to have in this job.

Job Responsibilities
With report to the manager of the DCE CRM Design team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with business and other DCE stakeholders on designing and building state of the art sales and service dashboards
  • Together with your direct colleague, the Analytics Consultant, ensure that Tableau CRM data models are defined and set up correctly to support business needs
  • Data model programming
  • Dashboard programming
  • Work on issues, find root causes, fix issues
  • Create, maintain, and monitor data load jobs
  • Ensure data access rights are in accordance with company policies

Background & Skills
You properly hold a Bachelor's in Business, Technology, Management or equivalent, combined ideally with proven experience from working with analytics. We will invest in your development if you are the right candidate, but if you have one of more of below skills, this will be a great advantage:

  • Experience in working with several large data sources (so large that Excel has not been an option)
  • Understand the basics of connecting data sources
  • Experience working with Azure
  • (Light) Programming experience
  • Experience within; Salesforce, Einstein, SQL, VBA
  • Alternatively (or on top of above): STATA, SAS, Matlab, Python etc.
  • Expert in Excel
