Essential skills:
- at least 3 years of commercial experience programming
- Node.js and experience with some Node.js web frameworks
- Typescript
- Docker
- knowledge of microservices architecture
It’s awesome but not a must:
- Redis
- knowledge of JWT
- Event Driven Development and experience with message brokers: RabbitMQ, Kafka
- experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- experience with SQL and/or any ORM system (TypeORM preferred)
- ability to write unit and E2E tests using Jest
- ability to build REST APIs
- DevOps: AWS, CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines), Bash scripting (basic)
- ability to build and design scalable architecture
- knowledge of microservices architecture patterns (i.e i.e. asynchronous/synchronous communication in microservices, API Gateway pattern)
