    Ciklum is looking for a Data Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

    About the role:


    As a Data Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, particularly with expertise in BigQuery and a thorough understanding of the Kimball methodology for data modeling. As part of our Data Warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data models to support our organization's analytical and reporting needs.

    Responsibilities:

    As a member of our Data Warehouse team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing data models using the Kimball methodology, with a focus on scalability, performance, and data integrity. You will work closely with domain teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data models and ETL processes


    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouses using BigQuery and Airflow
    • In-depth knowledge of dimensional modeling techniques, specifically the Kimball methodology
    • Mastery in SQL and it’s great if you can do a bit of Python
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is preferred but not required
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to learning and professional development
