Senior Data and Reporting Developer

Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

As a Senior Data & Reporting Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to future prosperity through data-driven solutions. You will contribute to designing and delivering high-quality data insights, reporting, and architecture that underpin impactful business decisions across the bank. This is your chance to shape data landscapes and support digital transformation at a global level.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data projects, including developing KPIs, data models, and reports based on multiple sources, ensuring alignment with standards and business requirements

• Perform data matching, linking, cleaning, transformation, and validation to support accurate insights

• Manage secure data transfer from sources to targets, ensuring compliance and data integrity

• Provide complex reporting solutions using Google Cloud environment and/or Microsoft SQL Server, leveraging Python, TSQL, and other tools

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Identify process improvement opportunities and mitigate project risks

• Document processes thoroughly, creating roadmaps and descriptions to ensure clarity and reproducibility

• Drive project execution by facilitating discussions, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in a data-related role: SQL development, data analysis, data engineering, data architecture, or data management

• Expert knowledge of SQL programming and relational databases

• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform Products, especially BigQuery and Data Studio (a strong plus)

• Understanding of ETL and data warehousing principles

• Experience with business reporting and front-end dashboards

• Knowledge of Python (advantageous)

• Fluent in business English, with excellent communication skills

• A proactive, goal-oriented attitude with a problem-solving mindset

  
  

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications or experience in cloud technologies or data modeling

  
  

Language Required for the role:
