What you will do:
- Design, develop, and maintain code for Brainly platform to enhance the great learning experience for our users.
- Solving complex challenges such as performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with other software engineers to design scalable services, plan feature roll-out, and ensure high reliability and performance of your deliverables.
- Conduct code reviews, contribute high-quality documentation and build robust test suites for your features.
- Mentor other engineers within the team and cross-functionally based on personal strengths and capabilities.
As a Software Engineer in Frontend at Brainly you will be working with:
- Modern JavaScript (ESNext)
- React, Redux, GraphQL Flow
- SCSS + our own style guide
- Jest, Enzyme and Puppeteer
- Webpack, Babel, Prettier and ESLint
- Continuous Delivery Pipeline in Teamcity
We expect you to have:
- Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript, including at least one of the modern FE frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
- Experience in developing a large SPA
- Experience in creating layouts with CSS Grid/Flexbox and RWD
- High level of self-organization, ability to make your own decisions
- Ability to brainstorm and co-create new solutions, both business and technical
- Team player attitude and great communications skills
- Ability to learn fast
- Great attention to detail
Nice to have:
- In-depth knowledge of React and its ecosystem
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with E2E Testing
- Experience in working with A/B tests
- Experience in UI animations
- Knowledge of data structures and design patterns
