QA INFRA TEAM
We are working across the whole organization and supporting quality processes within product teams on a daily basis. We are also responsible for the maintenance of the bugs’ management and teaching people, how to report bugs properly, and why it is so important.
But at the same time, we all strongly believe that the definition of quality includes much more than only checking if there are no bugs in the product. Complete quality assurance is the mindset, attitude and last, but not least - real care of things we do - and how.
Currently, we are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who will join our team and will be responsible for testing and supporting of projects that are in the phase of maintenance. This role is a senior supervisor of the processes, tools, and suppliers that are used by the Quality Assurance specialists dedicated to Product teams, or projects.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- taking the ownership and leading the processes of the quality culture for the whole Company
- building the culture of testing performed by engineers
- support the recruitment process for hiring next QA Engineers
- support the Product QA’s with the tools, solutions and processes needed for their effective roles in such teams
- together with the QA INFRA team, discovering and defining the scope of the Product team support
- preparing projects and research to be introduced for the whole QA team
- preparing a process audit within the Product team as a support of the Product QA
- creating and gathering data for QA metrics to track achieving the core business KPIs
- gathering and spreading the good practices among QA team members with the execution plan
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
Required:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a QA

experience as QA within Scrum team (in the team containing full-time scrum master)
- if working for a software house, at least 12 months of continuous experience on one project/client
- general knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- knowledge about best practices for test cases and documentation creation, maintenance, and execution
- knowledge and experience of the best practice for the QA processes and QA culture setup for the company
- an understanding of user acceptance methodologies including, black box testing, use cases, and user stories
- experience with performing and supervising exploratory testing
- understanding of the Scrum/Agile methodology
- sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- keen on the analysis of the core of the problem
- fluency in English
- meeting facilitation skills
- experience with DevTools (or similar)
- good time management skills
- providing training and support to quality teams/colleagues on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes based on the Quality Assurance
Nice to have:
- leadership or management experience
- taking responsibilities of a Scrum Master or Project Manager previously
- familiarity with ISTQB concepts
- ISTQB certificate (or similar)
- knowledge of tools for project/test management (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, TestRail, Xray)
- familiarity with BDD and/or TDD concepts
- familiarity with testing software on the different levels of SLDC, using different test types
- experience with test automation and testing frameworks
- familiarity with programming languages
