Job description
Batmaid.com is the UBER for home cleaning. Our internet platform helps people to find their maid at an affordable price.
After 4 years in operation, we’re a leader in the Swiss and Luxembourg markets, with more than 20’000 clients and 1’500 maids in entire Switzerland and Luxembourg. Due to rapid growth and plans to expand into new countries and markets we're looking for a hardworking and passionate QA Engineer.
You will be a member of a 3 person QA team, working closely with back-end developers. Your task will be to create and execute manual tests of our software platform. You will translate user stories to manual test scenarios and perform exploration & regression testing. Together with our Test Automation Engineer, you will make sure our test coverage is high and bugs found early and often. You also work with developers, helping them reproduce and fix bugs.
Ideally, you are already bringing some experience and new fresh ideas based on your past professional experience. You are a creative tester and are able to identify problems and issues fast.
We require:
- Fluency in English, our office language
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on work experience in software testing
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in API Testing
- Hands-on experience with bug-tracking systems
- Experience in Agile software development
- Basic knowledge of MySQL
A plus:
- Familiarity with Git
- Practical knowledge of Youtrack, our task tracking system
- Experience in web application performance testing
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn test automation, with tools such as Cypress
- Experience with Postman and reading Swagger API documentation
