Job description

We are looking for an experienced Incident Coordinator to join our client’s team in the banking sector. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating incident response, ensuring operational stability, and driving problem resolution in a complex data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an Incident Coordinator for major and recurring incidents.
  • Contribute to designing and improving the Incident Management process.
  • Manage and maintain communication with a variety of stakeholders:
  • Internal teams and product areas
  • Source systems (to address data quality issues)
  • Downstream systems consuming data
  • Ensure rapid incident resolution and operational stability through collaboration with DevOps, Operations teams, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Pre-assess incident severity and support Product Owners/Managers in correct prioritization.
  • Ensure transparent and accurate reporting of incidents and problems.
  • Drive and coordinate resolution activities, including mitigations and root cause analyses.
  • Lead incident and problem task forces when required.
  • Follow up on problem records to ensure permanent fixes, facilitating cross-team collaboration as needed.


Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading incident and problem task-forces.
  • Solid background in IT operations, either from an IT or business side.
  • Practical knowledge of ITIL (Foundation level or higher).
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and leadership abilities.
  • Proactive and adaptable – comfortable driving action in dynamic environments.
  • Experience with documentation and reporting of incidents and resolutions.
  • Confident communicator, not afraid to speak up even in challenging situations.
  • Process-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Fluent English – both spoken and written (required).


Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Financial Crime Prevention.
  • Familiarity with SAFe framework or other Agile methodologies.
