Node.js Developer

Axon is looking for an experienced Node.js Engineer to join our team. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the application.

The solution links physical merchandise to digital experiences, helping entertainment and sports organizations, and clubs create new revenue and build closer relationships with their biggest fans.

• Manage Connected Merchandise via Unique NFC Chip ID
• Manage CMS users, Fan Accounts, and Sponsors
• Matchday Memories Exclusive to Merchandise Owners
• Fan Community Forum Exclusive to Merchandise Owners
• Virtual Lockeroom of Owned Connected Merchandise.

Current team consists of 8 experienced specialists, who will gladly assist with your on-boarding to the team. 

What you need for this position:

• Proven experience as a Next.js Developer at least for 2 years; 
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript;
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with server-side technologies;
• Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) databases and Prisma ORM;
• Experience with cloud technologies and services;
• Experience using the Git version control system;
• Intermediate+ level of English for communication with foreign colleagues.

• Developing server-side logic using the Next.js framework;
• Ensuring optimal performance of the database;
• Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes;
• Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to other developers;
• Interfacing with key stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and develop solutions.
