Senior QA Java

We are currently looking for experienced professional with strong technical skills and quality mindset to join our test team. Our responsibility is securing quality for end-to-end travel reservation product dedicated for global markets. We are working in English speaking environment distributed between two main locations: Poland and the US, and occasionally India and Uruguay. Our development process is based on Agile principals with strong focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery. The team is mainly concentrated on test automation creating scripts for web GUI using Selenium webdriver, also continuously extending in-house build test automation framework. Desktop and mobile platforms are in our test automation scope.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop and execute automated test scripts
• Troubleshoot problem and isolate defects
• Manage test suites and reports results
• Recommend and implement adjustments in test automation framework
• Control test process, support application delivery (support application promotion to higher env.) and recommend improvements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: B.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent

Experience: 3+ years experience in testing application software.

Required skills:

• Experience in automated test scripts development
• Good JAVA coding language knowledge
• Working experience with web GUI testing and JUnit
• Good problem solving
• Good analytical thinking
• Basic knowledge of test methodologies
• Agile development process methodology experience
• Good communication in English

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Selenium webdriver
• Experience in designing JAVA based automated test frameworks
• Working experience with WebService testing
• Working experience with automated commercial or open source test tools
• Scripting languages knowledge (unix shell, groovy)
• Experience with setting up and managing continuous integration tool (Jenkins or similar)
• Experience with performance testing
• Basic understanding of test management practices
