Audience Republic helps events sell more tickets. We've recently experienced some massive growth around virtual events.
Our customers are some of the largest (physical & virtual) events in the world — featuring artists like Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Elton John, RUFUS DU SOL, ODESZA, Flume, Marshmello.
We are fast growing technology startup in B2B SaaS, and have raised $3.3M from investors. Our team is based across Sydney, Los Angeles, London and Taiwan.
The Role
The QA testers responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)
The QA tester role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches (and at various stages of the development process) to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
🔥 What will you do?
- Review and analyze system specifications,
- Collaborate with Engineering to develop effective strategies and test plans,
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results,
- Evaluate product code according to specifications,
- Create and run SQL queries in Postico (or equivalent) to validate test results against backend data,
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects,
- Report bugs and errors to development teams,
- Track issues and bugs after reporting and ensure they have been
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Ensure that the Audience Republic experience spans a wide range of devices, from desktop to mobile.
- Communicate with other team members to determine the best solutions to difficult problems.
✅ You are someone who
- Has 2+ years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and others,
- Experience in project management and QA methodology
- Familiarity with SQL is a strong plus, however, this can also be learned on the job, you must have some experience with running DB queries and being able to analyse results,
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Has strong communication skills
- Has attention to detail
- Has analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
