Java Developer

You will work as a Java Engineer for one of our customers a high-technology company bringing the digital and physical worlds closer together to create a safer world.

You will work in Kraków, in the client's office.

First 3 months full-time at the office, then hybrid 3 days per week at the office.

Your responsibilities:

• Development of new features in the applications

• Responsibility for regular communication with others involved in the development process

• Responsibility for the design and implementation of software projects using Java

• Build and maintain efficient and reliable Java code

Must:

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred, or similar experience required 

• 2+ years of work experience 

• Proficiency with Java programming language and various Java EE technologies 

• Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, web services, JMS, and multithreading 

• Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented programming 

• Hands-on experience with XML/Web Services technologies  

• Hands-on experience of relational databases (Oracle, SQL)  

• Hands-on experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle 

• Experience with Version Control System like Git or SVN 

• Understanding of TDD practices and experience with JUnit/Unit Testing 

• Demonstrated knowledge of Linux operating systems  

• Agile scrum experience 

• Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal
