The Experience Research team at Asana is focused on understanding the dynamics of modern work, the role technology plays, and how Asana can empower teams to thrive in a collaborative environment. Our work informs teams at every level of the company and drives key roadmap decisions.

We’re looking for a creative, curious, collaborative human who is excited to help us in our mission to improve the world of work. Our ideal candidate is able to identify and prioritize usability needs across the product to help Asanas build and measure a highly accessible and exceptionally usable product for the enterprise customer.

This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.

    What you’ll achieve

    • Execute usability studies quickly and at a high volume across the Core Product
    • Establish and test the measures for product quality evaluations
    • Regularly audit the core product to identify, socialize, and prioritize usability and product consistency issues, large and small, and proactively plan your research roadmap in partnership with product teams
    • Identify research needs in partnership with research leads and product teams then design, plan, and execute on the highest leveraged work
    • Help teams improve their decision quality by pulling in business objectives, customer data, and quantitative analyses
    • Work closely with recruiting, our site lead, and other Asana as we grow our Warsaw office: source & interview candidates, help strengthen our talent brand in the region, and onboard new employees

    About you

    • 5+ years of experience practicing UX Research for digital products with a strong understanding of accessibility guidelines, standards, and testing tools
    • Deep knowledge of unmoderated testing tools and processes such that studies are set up quickly and with low participant error; Ability to coach on recruiting criteria to ensure high quality participants
    • Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with product management/designers/data scientists, as well as cross-timezone with other offices; able to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at every level
    • Autonomous and comfortable with ambiguity; you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done—and then making it happen
    • Quick learner and comfortable transitioning between different contexts and product areas, enabling you to jump in and rapidly unblock teammates
    • Able to distill research findings into clear, actionable insights
    • Foundational knowledge of information architecture, design principles, and content strategy for both web and mobile

At Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission. If you're interested in this role and don't meet every listed requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
