About the Job

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team in Gdansk (part of IT Services). You will be a key contributor to the support and maintenance of our Azure cloud infrastructure, focusing on Azure Virtual Machines and automation. You will work closely with senior engineers to resolve incidents, implement and maintain cloud solutions, and contribute to ongoing cloud initiatives. Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to learn quickly are essential.

 Specifically, you will:

• Provide support for the maintenance and operation of our Azure cloud infrastructure
• Contribute to the investigation and resolution of support incidents related to our Azure environment
• Implement and maintain solutions, focusing on compute, networking, security and storage
• Deploy and configure azure virtual machines and other cloud resources
• Create and maintain documentation, including runbooks, procedures, and knowledge base articles
• Monitor health and performance of Azure resources and respond to alerts
• Collaborate effectively with other team members
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency
• Actively learn about new Azure technologies and services, expanding your cloud expertise
• Optionally participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support coverage (extra paid)

Who are you? :

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 1 year focused on Azure cloud environments
• Hands-on knowledge in core Azure services, including Compute, Networking, Storage and Security
• Proficiency in using at least one of the following deployment methods: Azure Portal, Azure CLI, or Azure PowerShell
• Proactively identify and address potential performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in our Azure environment
• Contribute to the improvement of infrastructure monitoring and alerting , ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues

Furthermore you have: 

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Windows OS or Linux OS management
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly
• Azure Fundamentals and other certification is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
