The key responsibilities are:
- Working as a part of Agile team to test changes to the application
- Drive your team's test & process automation
- Work on the test automation - developing the current stack (Java, Selenium) and creating new solutions
- Perform a preliminary analysis of failed tests, collect and read the stack trace identifying the point of bug occurrence in the system
- Communicate the results of tests and analysis back to the project team
- Maintain and update test cases based on continuous feedback
- Capture and report any defects throughout test execution
- Ensure new features are continuously added to automated regression tests
- This position assumes that the vast majority of tasks will be entrusted with the expectation of full independence in their exercising
- Be an advocate for improvement and share knowledge with others
- Day-to-day direct cooperation with peers, Devs, BAs within the Scrum team
What we’re looking for
- Quality Assurance & Testing background
- Deep knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle
- Knowledge and experience in test automation and CI concepts (Jenkins)
- Knowledge of techniques, frameworks and tools for automation of back-end
- Java knowledge
- Hands-on experience in using a test management tool (e.g. qTest Manager)
- Hands-on knowledge and experience about Oracle database
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-reliance and responsibility for assigned tasks
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban
- Proactive, ambitious and motivated
- Excellent team player
Advantageous Skills & knowledge
- Experience of using JIRA (or equivalent tools)
- Experience of cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
- Working knowledge of AWS, creating and managing environments, virtual instances, AMIs, etc.
- ISTQB Foundation / Advanced level certification
