Junior/ Mid Data Engineer

For our client, founded in 1884 as a Swiss luxury watchmaker, known for precision-made chronometers designed for aviators, we seek a Junior/ Mid Data Engineer to join our team and drive the development and success of the high-end timepieces.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: collect and understand requirements and work closely with the business analysts, data architects, BI engineers and other data engineers.

• Developing data pipelines: develop, optimize, and maintain reliable and scalable ETL/ELT pipeline on a cloud platform through the collection, storage, processing, and transformation of large datasets

• Support production issues related to application functionality and integrations

And if you possess..

• Related Experience: 2+ years of experience in the role of data engineer

• Hands-on experience in gathering, cleaning, processing and visualizing data in Databricks with Python/Pyspark

• Proficient in SQL development skills with the ability to write complex, efficient queries for data integration

• Experience in Azure cloud ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Account, Azure SQL database, .

• Experience in data modelling in a Data lake environment

• Must have strong experience in data warehouse concepts

• Analytical skills to support Business Analysts and the ability to translate user stories

• Good diagnosis skills for identifying job issues

• Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks within tight deadlines

• Proficient in spoken and written communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
