We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Big Data architect to join our big data engineering team.

You will:

Develop architecture management framework, models, and blueprints, to guide in the design and deployment of solution architecture.
Conduct analysis, design, and implementation
Define optimal design patterns and solutions
Transforming the strategy as defined by leadership into a technology roadmap, managing technical risks, and driving execution within engineering teams
Documenting architecture design and architectural decisions
Support and consulting engineering teams implementing architecture design
Communicate with business users to clarify requirements and use cases

For your work you will need:

5+ years of experience designing, executing and supporting cloud solutions
Working experience in designing auto-scalable cloud solutions, a strong knowledge of scaling strategy and tactics
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, technics and technologies
Extensive experience in Cloudera or Cloudera Data platform (CDP)
Extensive experience with Hadoop
Advanced experience with Python, pySpark
Advanced experience with Data lakes
Familiar with software development patterns: e.g. Application architecture, SOLID principles, Clean Code, Separation of Concerns, SAGA
Proven experience in delivering infrastructure solutions using agile methods
Outstanding communication skills (English)
Architect mindset, value-driven, solution-oriented
Analytical thinking, well organized, consulting spirit, willingness to learn
