Senior Big Data Developer

About Project:
Within a project in the pharmaceutical area we are looking for Senior Big Data Developer to join multinational and large scale project in order to secure delivery of high-quality solutions. You will become part of skilled and international team, working in fast-paced and inspiring working environment (based on SCRUM).
Required skills:
- Strong experience of working in an object-oriented language (Java, nice to have: Scala)in delivering back-end, RESTfull API-based solutions.
- Knowledge of data management and data integration products stack:
- Presto or AWS Athena
- AWS S3
- Hadoop: Hive, HBase, HDFS
- Kafka
- Docker, Jenkins, Git
- Experience in integrating SQL and NoSQL databases,
- Experience in using OData, ODBC, Engineering practices: code review, pair programming, CI/CD,
- Experience with consuming and developing RESTfull API web-services,
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Knowledge of semantic web, SPARQL, RDF Linux configuration
