Python Developer (with Wowza experience)

About project

We are looking for a Software Engineer with Python and Node.js experience. You would join a dynamic team developing streaming platforms for clients using AWS and Wowza technologies. The project involves collaboration with DevOps teams on backend configuration and updates, followed by the development of a strategic platform. All tasks are focused on backend development—no frontend expertise is required.

Start: January/February 2025

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications.
• Implementing and testing solutions based on Python and NodeJS.
• Designing and implementing efficient, reusable code.
• Participating in code reviews and continuously improving development processes.
• Collaborating with DevOps teams on system configuration and updates.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and integrating with external platforms.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in backend applications using Python.
• At least 1 years of experience in backend applications using NodeJS.
• Proficiency in AWS (required).
• Familiarity with streaming platforms (Wowza or similar – required).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Robot Framework preferred).
• Knowledge of video protocols: HLS, SRT, RTMP.
• Ability to design and implement end-to-end and integration tests.
•  Excellent English skills
