About project

Currently we are looking for Business System Analyst to join project of developing data warehouse in the FX treasury domain aimed at acquiring data on transactions related to currency risk.

The project's goal is to identify and map process steps and ultimately standardize and automate the recurring elements of the process across all operational units of the company, i.e., contract terms, native market currency, buying currency, and currency hedging.

The project is being carried out globally. The acquired data must be transferred from SAP BW to the target data warehouse, which serves as a standardized resource for supplying analytical tools to the risk management department.

Possibility of remote work with occasional visits to the Warsaw office.

Tasks

• Work directly with stakeholders (Market and Credit Risk departments), BI Project Manager/Product Owner to understand business needs and priorities, business processes, data collection, data processing as well as modeling requirements
• Support BI Project Manager/Product Owner by defining Product Backlog stories and helping to clarify the business priority
• Analyze data based on SQL queries to confirm business requirements, implement proof of concept queries confirming defined business logic
• Support BI Scrum Development Team by documenting requirements and helping conceptualize BI solutions meeting business stakeholders requirements
• Liaise with other teams to help coordinate activities in preparing data and data transfer processes required for defined project scope
• Create interactive Business Intelligence reports as part of BI projects deliverables
• Validate delivered solutions by creating test cases, test SQL queries and test BI reports
• Liaise with multiple business stakeholders to help coordinate User Acceptance Tests and provide test results back to the Scrum Development Team
• Organize interactive workshops for business stakeholders and end users
• Provide support for BI data warehouse and reports users

Requirements

• Min. 3 years of experience in business systems analysis domain
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to work on multiple complex projects at the same time
• Ability to understand business processes, analyze data and to combine the two to drive conclusions and define project requirements for development team
• Ability to pro-actively work with business stakeholders to lead the requirements analysis and UAT sessions
• Ability to document requirements and project deliverables using UML notation in Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Experience with SQL programming language, relational and multidimensional data models and databases (Oracle preferred)

Nice to have:

• Experience in building Tableau Data Sources and Reports
• Experience with SAP and SAP BW
• Experience with Agile methods (Scrum Framework preferred)
• Proficient use of project management, knowledge base and collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Sharepoint & Teams
• Understanding of financial markets and exchange domain
