Business Analyst (Security background; pharma)

About the project:

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join IT Security team and contribute to Zero Trust strategic initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Application Owners to explain the objectives and benefits of the Zero Trust initiative, and build strong relationships to facilitate effective communication throughout the onboarding process.
• Assess the specific needs and translate business requirements of each application to determine the appropriate access policies and security measures that should be implemented.
• Lead discussions with Application Owners to define the access policies that should be applied to their applications, considering factors like user roles, data sensitivity, and risk profiles. 
• Collaborating with stakeholders to reach agreements and ensure alignment between the Zero Trust initiative and the Application Owners' objectives.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to Application Owners regarding best practices for implementing access controls and security measures within the Zero Trust framework.
• Monitor the progress of the onboarding process and evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented access policies, make adjustments as necessary to ensure alignment with the Zero Trust initiative's goals.
• Develop comprehensive business cases and documentation, including requirements documents, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with executives, clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello and ServiceNow) is preferred.
