Fullstack / Frontend Developer
Together with one of the world's largest English language schools, we are creating the world's first robot to support language learning for toddlers younger than 4 years old. This robot will drive kids' curiosity with advanced AI methods. We will develop the necessary AI models, SaaS platform (based on AWS), software for the robot, assisting mobile applications and lesson creation tools.
We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer who could strengthen our team and lead the development of user facing components. We plan to stick to modern, JavaScript oriented frameworks for SaaS and mobile applications and a lightweight, Python based architecture underneath.
You will join an international, agile team working on an innovative educational platform supporting learning English in partnership with Worldwide Leader in educational franchising.
Key responsibilities:
- Coding (80% of your time);
- Leading the UI development for all components;
- Designing and developing cross platform, JavaScript based web and mobile applications with respective underlying backend;
- Creating a cross-platform solution for authoring lesson’s contents;
- Contributing to planning and estimating of stories and fixes;
- Being involved in the development, testing, building and deployment of the whole platform.
We are looking for:
- Experience in frontend programming: React, Angular, Vue;
- Knowledge of Javascript, HTML5, CSS;
- Knowledge of PWA / SPA development concepts;
- Experience in backend development;
- Knowledge of hybrid cross platform development concepts;
- Experience in cloud deployment;
- Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes;
- Experience in ORMs;
- Experience in Unit testing;
- Knowledge of GIT;
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies;
- Ability to work effectively with an English speaking team.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in Cordova or other cross-platform mobile development;
- Experience in Automated tests;
- Knowledge of linux and windows cross platforms solutions
- Experience in Python desktop solutions e.g. pyQT;
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline;
