Project Overview

As a .NET Developer, you will join an engineering team working on a data-driven web application used to present and manage information generated by other parts of the system (lists, reports, dashboards). The front-end is built in a server-side rendering model using ASP.NET.

The project is currently in a migration phase, transitioning from legacy WinForms components to modern DevExpress JS components and improving UI/UX while modernizing the architecture. Initially, your work will be strongly focused on migration tasks, but it will require a solid understanding of the target direction and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the web application from concept to production release.

• Migrate front-end components to modern solutions using DevExpress JS.

• Develop and maintain solutions based on ASP.NET (WebForms in MVC) and WebAPI (.NET 8).

• Implement data-heavy views such as portfolio lists, users, orders, and transaction management screens.

• Support dashboard development (summary and reporting views).

• Deliver client requirements and integrate new functionality into existing modules.

• Work closely with the data layer and reporting (MSSQL, Entity Framework, SQL scripts).

• Support the project team with ongoing technical tasks and improvements.

• Participate in code reviews and collaborate to keep code quality high.

Requirements

• +4 years of experience with .NET and C#.

• Practical experience with ASP.NET server-side rendering (WebForms in MVC).

• Solid knowledge of Entity Framework.

• Good command of SQL (MSSQL), including scripting and versioning practices.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of migration tasks.

• Fluency in Polish and an advanced level of English (B2/C1).

Nice to have

• Experience with DevExpress and/or jQuery

• Background in migrating legacy applications

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

• Experience in financial domain systems (banking, portfolio management)
