Staff Software Engineer (Engineering Productivity)

What you get to do every day:

• Build and support AI tools to simplify development and build processes
• Collaborate with users to improve the tool based on their feedback
• Lead projects and feature development along with other engineers in the team
• Mentor engineers in the team through pairing and code reviews
• Share knowledge and learnings across the organization

What you bring to the role:

Required:

• Proven ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and manage expectations with executive-level stakeholders (Directors, VPs) to drive strategic alignment and successful outcomes.
• Ability to transform visions & roadmaps into reality.
• You love problem-solving, investigating issues and discovering the appropriate solution
• Expert understanding of Kubernetes, or orchestrating Docker containers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in at least one of the programming languages (JavaScript, Go, Python, Java etc.)
• Tactics and strategies for engineering productivity internal products to highly technical users in a large multi-product SaaS organization.
• Experience with infrastructure management tools (Terraform, Spinnaker).
• Ability to collaborate with remote teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with large language models (e.g. ChatGPT).
• Familiarity with Data Collection, Analysis, and Visualization (e.g. DBT, Snowflake).
• General knowledge of Engineering Productivity frameworks (e.g. DORA, SPACE)
