Role Summary

We are looking for a technically skilled Network Engineer to join our International Shared Services Center in Poland as part of Group IT Infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for building, operating, and securing Zehnder’s global network landscape across on‑premises and cloud‑connected environments.

You will work with modern networking and security concepts, including Zero Trust architectures, enterprise connectivity, and centralized monitoring, ensuring a stable and secure foundation for business‑critical services worldwide.

 Key Responsibilities

·         Configure, implement and maintain secure network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, ZTNA, DMZ, NAC, Zoning, Proxy).

·         Administer and support network devices and services (switches, Wireless environment, firewalls, Proxy, NAC).

·         Monitor and optimize network performance and security using centralized monitoring platforms and logging tools.

·         Maintain accurate documentation of network architectures, configurations, and change history.

·         Enforce firewall rules, access control, and network segmentation in alignment with Zehnder’s security directives and zero-trust principles.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve network and connectivity issues across multiple environments.

·         Collaborate with internal teams and managed service partners (SOC, monitoring, threat response) to address incidents and vulnerabilities.

·         Contribute to infrastructure security improvements and participate in compliance audits (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR).

·        Resolving fault reports (ticket system) at second level as support of first Level

Certifications (Preferred)

Industry-recognized network or security certifications such as:

·         Cisco CCNA or equivalent

·         CompTIA Security+, Network+, CySA+

·         Other comparable certifications demonstrating network and security expertise.

·         English: Full professional proficiency, both spoken and written is required.

·         Communicative, solution-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.

·         Structured, reliable, and proactive working style with a strong sense of ownership.

·         Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.

·         Willingness to occasionally work off-peak hours or weekends.
