Senior Oracle Transport Management (OTM) Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Transport Management (OTM) Consultant. The role demands a balance of subject-matter expertise in Oracle OTM and strong stakeholder engagement to ensure solutions meet commercial and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead knowledge acquisition during the transition phase and support the planning and optimization of offshore activities.

• Act as the primary owner of multiple workstreams, ensuring effective task allocation and delivery management across the team.

• Establish and standardize processes for steady-state support operations and customer onboarding.

• Provide system architecture guidance to teams responsible for custom configuration, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.

• Drive standardization and synergies across OTM solutions implemented for different customers.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable and efficient transportation management solutions.

• Oversee both development and support activities across projects.

• Ensure high-quality customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

• Support conflict resolution and foster a collaborative team environment.

• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9+ years of experience with Oracle Transport Management (OTM).

• Proven experience in at least 3 full lifecycle OTM implementations in mid-to-large scale projects across various industries.

• Strong expertise in OTM functional configuration, including:

• Shipment planning and execution,

• Freight settlement,

• Sourcing,

• Fleet management.

• Advanced SQL knowledge, along with experience in XML, XSL, and BI Publisher.

• Hands-on experience with B2B integrations using standards and methods such as EDI and APIs.

• Solid understanding of solution design and system architecture.

• Experience working on both development and support projects.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and delegate effectively.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and team leadership skills.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in the 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) industry

• Knowledge of other Order Management and/or Transport Management Systems

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
