Cloud Platform / DevOps Engineer with AWS Pro Certificate

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform / DevOps Engineer to join our customer's team. The person in this role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a robust self-service platform that supports the entire software development lifecycle. This position requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration and delivery processes, with a primary focus on AWS technologies.

Duties

• Design and maintain a self-service platform that encompasses the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Bamboo CI, Jenkins, or equivalent solutions.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using technologies including CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, and SAM.

• Integrate AWS serverless and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings into platform solutions.

• Advocate and apply best practices for cloud resource utilization, automation processes, and platform reliability.

• Monitor platform performance, availability, and security to ensure operational excellence.

• Continuously enhance tooling and developer experience to optimize productivity and platform usability.

Requirements

• Proven production experience in cloud platform engineering, with a strong emphasis on AWS environments.

• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting languages.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities coupled with effective communication skills across teams.

• Capability to successfully complete a live coding interview as part of the assessment process.

• Holdings of AWS Solutions Architect and/or DevOps Professional certifications.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with large-scale, global platforms.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
