Role: Staff Engineer - Computer Vision

Location: Warsaw (Hybrid - max 5 days / month)

Budget: 40 000 – 45 000 PLN Gross (UoP) + High-Value Equity Components

The Opportunity in Brief:

Most ML models live comfortably on servers, processing clean, digital data. Ours have to survive the chaos of the real physical world.

We are an elite Deep Tech product company (Post-Series B equivalent) building autonomous systems that handle millions of unpredictable objects daily. We are looking for a Staff-level Engineer to join a team of veterans from top Silicon Valley and Big Tech firms.

The Engineering Challenges You Will Own:

• Beyond Bounding Boxes: You won’t just detect objects; you will design DL architectures that allow machines to understand geometry, texture, and physics in real-time to manipulate items successfully.

• The Feedback Loop: You will close the loop between perception (Vision) and action (Control), working directly with Hardware Engineers to push the boundaries of what mechanical systems can do with the right brain.

• Production at Scale: This is not a research lab. You will build pipelines that deploy models to fleets of robots operating 24/7. You will solve problems like "disassembling in motion" and handle data drift in dynamic environments.

• Technical Leadership: You will mentor a brilliant team, shaping the ML stack and making strategic decisions on when to use established methods and when to invent new ones (LLMs/VLMs).

  
  

Who You Are:

• A Builder: You have 8+ years of experience shipping ML systems. You’ve seen models fail in production and know how to fix them.

• A Computer Vision Expert: You understand the depths of deep learning for vision—not just how to import libraries, but how to debug and expand architectures when out-of-the-box solutions fail.

• A Polyglot of Context: You speak fluent Python, but you also speak "Product" and "Business." You understand why a 1% accuracy improvement matters (or doesn’t) for the company’s bottom line.
