📋 Role Overview
You will act as an Industrial Automation Contractor, playing a key role in scaling the company's deployment capabilities. Your main task will be to ensure the seamless integration of hardware components within intelligent robotic cells.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration & Design: Designing electrical connections and integrating hardware components (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, actuators, safety systems) into automated cells.
Site Implementation: delivering solutions to customers, including hands-on integration and commissioning at client sites (typically short trips, 1-2 weeks).
Documentation: creating and maintaining electrical schematics using EPLAN.
PLC Development: preparing and modifying PLC programs according to internal standards; integrating new devices into the control system.
Safety: Designing and programming industrial safety systems.
Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with the Software/AI team to debug issues and ensure hardware-software compatibility.
R&D Support: Building and testing prototypes for new automated solutions in the internal workshop.
🎓 Requirements
Experience: Proven track record in building and testing automation systems (from design to commissioning).
Robotics: Hands-on experience with industrial robots (knowledge of ABB systems is a strong asset).
Component Knowledge: Deep understanding of current market trends and solutions (sensors, actuators, controllers, industrial protocols).
Electrical Design: Proficiency in EPLAN is a must.
PLC: Strong programming skills (Siemens TIA Portal; knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCat is an advantage).
Mindset: A problem-solver attitude with high energy and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Engineering degree (Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Electronics).
Language: Excellent communication skills in English (required for international team collaboration).
Mobility: Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site commissioning.
🌟 Why apply?
Technology: Work with one of the most advanced stacks in the industry, combining heavy machinery with AI.
Expert Team: Learn from and cooperate with engineers who have built systems for the world's largest tech and industrial companies.
Impact: A flat structure where your engineering decisions directly influence the final product.
Tools: Access to a fully equipped testing facility/lab for internal experiments and prototyping.
