Senior Software Engineer

XTM International is a leading provider of translation management software (TMS). The company's cloud-based platform helps businesses streamline their translation processes and improve efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team (Java+React).

Scope of tasks

1. design and provide programming software and parts of the software,
2. creating new and changing existing elements of the software such as its functionality and performance,
3. based on the analysis of mathematical models and programming algorithms, development of software in accordance with the tasks set.
4. selection of the programming language for describing algorithms and data structures,
5. determination of the information to be processed by computer equipment, its volume, structure, layouts and schemes of input, processing, storage and output, methods of its control,
6. unification and typification of computing processes,
7. checking the functionality and compliance of the software with its functional purpose,
8. formation of the content of control examples for software testing,
9. development of automatic software verification systems,
10. preparation and debugging of the software,
11. adjustment of the developed software based on the analysis of the output data of testing and debugging,
12. start of operation of debugged programs and entering the source data determined by the conditions of the tasks set,
13. software administration, maintenance and modernization,
14. development and execution of user, technical and operational documentation,
15. preparation of a reports for managers on the work done and tasks completed (including a monthly list of creative works performed, i.e. works or parts thereof),
16. performance of other instructions and tasks of the manager within the scope of the Contract.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of commercial experience in Java programming with expertise in the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
2. Strong understanding of Web Services (SOAP/REST) and integration techniques.
3. Solid knowledge of SQL and practical experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), including ORM technologies (Hibernate) and query languages (HQL).
4. Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
5. Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
6. Good knowledge of AWS services and best practices for cloud architecture, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes (k8s) for container orchestration.
7. Ability to produce clean, high-quality code, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
8. Experience in designing and improving software architectures for performance, reliability, and maintainability in large-scale distributed systems.
9. Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Ability to work UK business hours and participate in on-call rotation.
11. English skills sufficient to read technical documentation (min. B2)

Nice to have:

1. Proficiency in Python for data processing, scripting, and integration tasks.
2. Experience working with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
3. Familiarity with WebSockets for real-time communication.
4. Familiarity with AngularJS, Redux Toolkit, Vite
5. Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and integration of AI functionalities into production systems.

Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack for effective system observability.
