QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing automated test scripts for new and existing functionalities,

• Participating in the selection of automated test architecture for existing and new functionalities,

• Executing, verifying results, and maintaining already prepared automated tests across different environments,

• Analyzing documentation for testing purposes,

• Creating reports from performed testing activities,

• Reporting and analyzing detected defects,

• Performing manual tests of mobile applications, web applications, or API tests,

• Applying best practices related to testing and participating in optimization of testing processes,

• Participating in code reviews.

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a developer or in application testing with automation of Web, Mobile, and API tests,

• Good knowledge of Java/Groovy for creating test scripts and process automation,

• Using AI tools to support test creation,

• Ability to work with CI/CD tools: GitLab, Kubernetes,

• Knowledge of Git version control systems,

• Experience with Gradle tools,

• Practical knowledge of the software development lifecycle,

• Experience in a test environment based on Agile Scrum methodology,

• Ability to work with tools supporting testing, e.g. Jira, TestFlo,

• Ability to effectively cooperate in a cross-team environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or experience related to the financial domain (knowledge of the FX area and trading platforms is welcome),

• Ability to work with Appium, Cucumber, Playwright,

• Practical knowledge of REST Assured and gRPC.
