The Role

You’ll be designing and maintaining scalable data platforms across multi-cloud environments (GCP-focused, plus AWS), integrating with Oracle systems, and enabling both real-time and batch analytics.

You’ll also play a role in shaping governed, domain-driven data environments using Google Dataplex — ensuring clean lineage, access control, and structured data domains across the platform.

This isn’t a “dashboard support” role — this is building serious infrastructure that people rely on every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing scalable, secure pipelines across GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) and AWS

• Implementing governance and data domain structures using Dataplex

• Integrating cloud platforms with Oracle databases

• Delivering both real-time and batch data solutions

• Optimizing systems for performance and latency

• Automating infrastructure with Terraform

• Building CI/CD workflows

• Working with Docker & Kubernetes

• Collaborating in Agile/Scrum teams

• Ensuring governance, lineage, and compliance standards are built in — not bolted on

In short: building clean, reliable, production-ready data platforms.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll probably be a strong fit if you have:

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) and/or AWS

• Experience implementing or working with Dataplex for governance and data management

• Strong Oracle SQL / PL-SQL

• Python, Java, or Scala

• Good understanding of data modeling & warehouse design

• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience

• CI/CD pipeline experience

• Kubernetes familiarity

• Comfort working in Agile teams

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in trading or financial markets

• Exposure to Airflow or dbt

• Knowledge of regulatory reporting

• A healthy obsession with performance tuning

• Experience building domain-oriented or data mesh-style architectures
