Senior PHP Backend Developer

We are looking for a skilled  Senior  PHP Backend Developer to join our client Creon and strengthen their development team

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and improving existing monolithic systems: ERP, WPS (Windows Production System), and Creon Online (an online store).

• Implementing automation for repetitive tasks (e.g., call summaries, automated email responses) using 3rd-party and AI tools.

• Enhancing the online shopping experience by building an advanced quotation tool for business clients.

• Implementing tracking and marketing tools to further increase sales.

• Refactoring and optimizing legacy code, including modularization.

• Conducting security updates and replacing unsupported packages.

• Reworking communication between different applications and improving data uploads.

• Writing clean, scalable, and testable code.

• Reviewing your team members’ code and suggesting improvements.

• Contributing to improvements in application architecture and promoting best practices.

• Laravel 12

• PHP 8.3 / 8.4

• MariaDB

What we’re looking for:

✅ 5+ years of professional experience

✅ Strong communication skills and ability to understand complex requirements

✅ Ability to collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders

✅ Excellent knowledge of PHP

✅ Solid experience with Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework, or similar frameworks

✅ Proven expertise in code refactoring and database optimization

✅ Strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns

✅ Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

✅ Fluent command of Polish and English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

✅ Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools

✅ Experience with ERP systems in production

✅ Familiarity with GitLab

✅ Interest in modern AI tools

✅ Familiarity with Azure
